Members of the IZW e.V. are the major German heat Pump Manufacturers and the Marketing Group of the German Electricity utilies (Fachverband für Energie-Marketing und –Anwendung (HEA) e.V. beim VDEW).
Activities within the National Team
Two National Team meetings and two scientific-technical meetings are held per year. The National Team work includes:
- Coordination of research and development projects
- Objective information on states of the art
- Organisation of meetings and seminars
- Publication of Heat Pump newsletters, weekly information to IZW-members, status reports, R&D-reports and brochures
- Cooperation with other nationals organisations and institutes related to heat pumps and refrigeration
Projects of interest in Germany
Promotion and support of research, development and demonstration of the heat pump and refrigeration technologies as a contribution to the improvement of energy-efficiency and the protection of the environment in heat and cold generation.
